SS20 - Nomads Hemp Wear Spring/Summer 2020 Collection

New Fabric Our biggest news of the season is our new - lighter than air- hemp lyocell. We have been looking for a light summer Hemp for years, and continuously push to develop new fabrics and ways of wearing hemp. We are excited to try out three new styles in this featherlight hemp that feels like our bamboo 150g/m, but better! lyocell from hemp is really easy to extract, AND it’s even cleaner than a closed loop system so better than our ultra green bamboo.

We loved last season’s light Melange so much we wanted more of it. So we added Melange in 280g/m for bottoms. We also went back to our original factory that produced the best 280g/m fabrics and we are excited to re-introduce our higher quality thick bamboo fabric in Microstripe, plain and Melange for SS20.

We’ve also made our Capris longer for a better calf-hugging silhouette. And finally, we’ve tacked down all the elastic in our bras so they no longer roll.

New Influence Ok, we confess we may have been watching too much Stranger Things as this season’s style has a healthy dose of 1970’s active-wear shapes blended with our usual mix of futuristic star commander meets urban moto sustainable festy fashion wear with just a hint of Boho thrown in for good measure.

What’s never old? Our same old commitment to ethical, fair trade, sustainable style. While the styles may change, our dedication to creating fair fashionable clothing never does.
