I thought I would share with you all why I am so passionate about this brand.
Firstly it's their innovation. Through their exclusive BamCo® patent-pending fabric finishing process, tasc Performance apparel achieves it’s unparalleled feel and performance without the use of chemical enhancements. In 2006, they started working with early fabrics sourced from Moso timber bamboo*. The fabric had an amazing hand-feel, but was very difficult to work with: it pilled and did not hold its shape or color. However, they were intrigued by the performance characteristics of the bamboo plant, and they spent over 2 years developing their unique process (BamCo®). The result is a fabric that feels better than cotton and performs without chemical enhancements.
Secondly, the bamboo is sustainably sourced. It is sourced from the Sichuan Province in China. The forest is certified by the FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) and certified organic by OCIA (Organic Crop Improvement Association) and the USDA.
Thirdly, they are manufactured responsibly. Their products are manufactured in India at a factory that produces exclusively for tasc Performance. Ninety percent of the energy used in making tasc Performance garments is renewable energy, much of it provided by solar panels installed at their factory. They work closely with their factory team in India to ensure the highest quality in every garment and ensure that business best practices are upheld for everyone who helps create tasc Performance fabrics and apparel.
And lastly, which is near and dear to me, it's a family business. At their core, tasc Performance is a family business. Their success is measured by the relationships they maintain and grow with each employee and your satisfaction with every piece of tasc Performance apparel.
And one more thing...YES the "t" is not a capital "T"
