After 18 years of serving our community, we’re sharing this news with full and heavy hearts: All Things Being Eco will be closing its doors. Even writing those words feels surreal.
As we pause to reflect on this journey, gratitude rises above everything else. What began as a small, hopeful idea grew into something far bigger than we ever imagined—because of the people who walked through our doors, believed in what we were building, and chose to show up again and again.
From opening our doors during the 2008 recession, to weathering the uncertainty of COVID, to enduring break-ins and vandalism, this path was never without its challenges. Yet woven through those hardships were moments of incredible joy: trade shows and fashion shows, community awards, newspaper features, documentary appearances, renovations, expansions, and the pride of pioneering the soap refillery business in our city. The countless 5-star reviews and kind words from you—our loyal customers—meant more than we can ever express.
But beyond milestones and achievements, what made this place truly special were the human moments. We celebrated births and new beginnings together. We mourned losses. We cried in celebration and in anguish. All Things Being Eco became more than a store—it became a shared space, a community, and in many ways, a home. Every moment was a blessing.
All Things Being Eco was created at a time when sustainable, organic, vegan, and ethical products were hard to find—especially in a small city like ours. Our dream was to gather everything you might need to live a greener, more mindful life under one roof, and to help make conscious living feel accessible and attainable. From the very beginning, we hoped these values would one day become part of everyday shopping everywhere. Seeing that shift take place in the world has been both validating and deeply meaningful.
We are incredibly honored to have served as your trusted one-stop shop for eco-friendly, organic, and zero-waste living. Every purchase you made supported not only our little store, but also the planet and the wider community. Together, we proved that small, thoughtful choices really do add up—and that change can begin right where you are.
