Well everyone, what a crazy few months it has been! Firstly I want to sincerely thank each and every single one of you for your endless support. The success we have had in recent weeks is a testament to the strength of our community, our customers and our collective creativity. Every day lately coming to work has been cloudy without you in the store. But sunnier days are here....

As of today we are open for you to come into the store and shop, with a limit of 2 customers in at a time. This helps ensure that we can properly clean up after refills, register use and whatnot. We don't take reopening lightly and have taken precautions to keep everyone safe.

If you find the door locked during business hours (10-4, Monday to Saturday) we are at our limit and will let you in as soon as the store is clear. We appreciate your patience.

If you are not comfortable coming into the store, we are still more than happy to offer curbside pick up for you. We want to make it as simple as possible for EVERYONE to be able to shop.

As a reminder, if you are getting refills we ask that your bottles are CLEAN and EMPTY. We have set up a makeshift refill table where you can put your containers before and after they are filled.

On a side-note, we are offering booking times for you to shop clothing. This will allow for us to still have our customers pop in for soap etc, and also let you have a chance to browse through and try on the amazing new Spring 2020 arrivals. If you are interested, please call us at 604-824-9442 and we'll find you a time to come in. We would ask that it be between the hours of 11 and 3, but are certainly flexible.

We have been working on finding a way to SAFELY do refills during our partial closure and have finally figured out our plan. We have carefully considered your safety as well as ours while still being able to offer refills.

1- All bottles MUST be clean and empty. No top ups or sticky, soapy, dirty containers. If they aren't in compliance, we will not be refilling them.

2 - Place your bottles in the BIN left outside. Let us know you've left them for us by giving us a call at 604-824-9442.

3 - Leave your NAME, PHONE NUMBER and EMAIL on a piece of paper so we can contact you when your refills are ready. As well, please LABEL what you would like in your bottles if it isn't clearly marked already (IE. if you want peppermint soap in a grapefruit bottle, or which product you want in a mason jar). The more specific the better. You can use tape, marker, post-its or whatever you have on hand. If it isn't marked, we will assume it is what the bottle says it is.

4 - When your order is filled, we will pack it up and contact you for pick up and payment. We can only process cash, or VISA and MasterCard over the phone.  If you are paying with cash, please have it ready at time of pick up and in an envelope or bag. Again, give us a call when you get to the store and we will bring out your order. We will try to be fast, but please understand the need to be able to clean and sanitize between customers' orders.

After each order, the basket will be sanitized, the spigots and scales sanitized and of course ourselves. Everyone's safety and well being is our PRIMARY focus.

You can look at what is available in refill HERE for your reference.

As a reminder, we have reduced hours, Monday to Saturday from 10-4.

We look forward to helping you...

Cabree & Donna

Wow, what an incredibly crazy time to be a small business. As everyone is now well aware of the need to flatten the curve, social distance, self isolate or even quarantine, we are finding it to be in everyone's best interest to close up shop. So as of March 25th, we will no longer have customers coming into the store.

This doesn't mean we are fully closed however. We will still be at the store from 10-4 to process online orders and take over-the-phone orders as well.

We just got a gigantic order of Sapadilla in today. There's lots of other brands of cleaning supplies available as well.

Online customers who live out of town:
You can order as usual. Nothing has changed in that regard. We will be shipping out with Canada Post and hope that orders will get to you in a decent time frame. So far the service Canada Post has been providing has been outstanding. Canadian order minimums to qualify for free shipping have been reduced to $65 to help out. I wish we could offer that to our US customers, but shipping costs are extraordinary as it is.

Local customers:
You have a few options. During business hours you can call us and we can process orders over the phone and have them set aside for you to pick up. Or you can order online and select in-store-pick up at the checkout.  We will let you know when your order is ready to be picked up. When you get to the store, give us a call, pop your trunk, and we will bring it out to you.  Or if you want your order delivered, carry on with delivery options at the checkout.

We won't be offering refills at this time as we haven't figured out a way to safely provide the option while not having customers physically come into the store. So stay tuned and we'll let you know if it will work going forward.

Your outpouring of support has been so overwhelming, we feel truly blessed to be a part of your daily lives. Thank you for continuing to shop with us, we look forward to seeing you all on the flip side of this global crisis. Follow us on Instagram, Facebook or Twitter to stay connected.

Stay home, stay safe.

Greenly

Cabree, Donna, Lee and Ursz.

Here at All Things Being Eco we are doing our very best to keep you up to date on what is going on in store. For now, we are business as usual, but assessing on a daily basis. Every day we will be posting on Instagram and Facebook if we are open or any changes to store operations.

If and when you come in, PLEASE be respectful of our staffs space as well as other customers. Stay at least a metre away from others in line and kindly don't stand beside us while we're doing your refills. We continue to wash everything throughout the store between refills and register transactions. We have removed our product testers for the time being in our skincare departments, and ask that you don't sample the makeup that is on display. We are happy to help you pick what need. And if you feel like you are sick with just about anything, please be thoughtful and stay home.

To help our customers in Canada better online shop, we have reduced our minimums to qualify for free shipping to $65 since a lot of people aren't getting out and are practicing social distancing.

We continue to make hand sanitizer while we have the ingredients and bottles to do so. It is getting harder and harder to find a consistent flow of ingredients, but we will be doing our best to stay on top of things. Feel free to call us or send us an IG or FB message. We do our best to get back to you ASAP.

We also continue to offer "in store pick up" to our local customers who shop online with us. This allows us to deliver to your car so you don't have to get out. Just give us a call when you get here and we'll come out to you. If you're not a super savvy online shopper, feel free to call us during business hours and we are happy to process orders over the phone. We can be reached at 604-824-9442.

Thank you SO SO SO much for your continued support and love, you all mean the world to us.

Sincerely,

Cabree & Donna

Well these certainly are uncharted waters to be navigating and we hope to be able to sail through them unscathed. We will remain open as long as it is sustainable and safe to do so. We also have the ability to limit in-store operations and go online only if and when needed. Until we need to cross that bridge, we have taken measures to ensure the cleanliness of the store, and viability to shop. If you are unwell, please stay home, enjoy a good book and rest. If you have neighbors in need, take care of them as best you can, we are all in this together.

We have tons of bar soapshousehold cleaning supplieslaundry soap and more (at least for the time being). With distribution possibly being disrupted in the near future, we will do our best to ensure inventory of the necessities.

If you are wanting products and live in Chilliwack, you are able to shop online and select the in-store pick up option, and we can even deliver to your car if you need. Call us anytime and we're happy to do orders over the phone as well. If there's anything we can do to help you get through this, we are happy to help.

Of course, all of this is pending us staying open. Everyday we will be assessing the situation, gathering news and facts and planning accordingly. Stay up to date by following us on Instagram and Facebook (links are below in the footer of this email) as we will be posting hours of operation, changes in operation and what is happening for us here at All Things Being Eco.

Keep safe, and we wish you the best in health.

Sincerely,

Cabree & Donna
