Introducing Canada's first Ecocert COSMOS certified organic lip and cheek stain! This vintage inspired "rouge" is made with certified organic botanicals and 100% natural pigments: the same ones used in formulas at the turn of the century.
High in vitamin E, this formula will help to nourish and protect your skin, while the subtle mango peach flavour will endear you. Apply this highly pigmented balm sparingly for a sheer wash of colour, or in thin layers for intense coverage.
Each of the shades is named after a historic, noteworthy, Canadian woman who had a positive impact on our society. Shade Description: An angelic glow, use as a highlight on cheekbones, eyes or lips.
Lips: Apply it directly from the glass jar with the tip of your finger.
Cheeks: Apply it directly from the glass jar with the tip of your finger. Pat the pigment gently on the apple of your cheeks. You can also use the Pure Anada mini kabuki brush. Simply swirl the brush into the product, and stipple it onto cheeks.

However, it is NOT vegan, since this vintage-inspired formula contains certified organic beeswax, and Ecocert approved Carmine. Carmine is a 100% natural crimson pigment derived from carminic acid which is produced by the cochineal beetle. It is the only way to achieve naturally true pinks in an Eco-certified formula. It is a natural, renewable and non-toxic pigment, used as a dye for over 1000 years. The harvesting process is sustainable and helps to support family business in South America. We are proud to incorporate this raw material, but realize it may not be appreciated by all. The shades Isabella and Abigail do not contain Carmine.
